Wedding Update: Furniture!

Phew.. best gila pergi beli bunga kat Fah lean tadi. Rasa macam settle satu lagi benda yang pending untuk tunang. Dah boleh cross satu lagi benda dalam list. Hehe.

So, after habis borong bunga-bungaan yang cantik itu, kami pun nak balik laa. Lalu, aku baru teringat macam ada ternampak Wescourt kat tepi jalan tu. Ajak laa mama singgah. Sebab sebenarnya nak menyinggah adalah nak tengok set meja makan. Ada laa a few things jugak nak beli. TV cabinet, shoes rack, bedroom set. Tapi, yang paling penting adalah dining table set. Almaklum laa.. family ene kan nak datang merisik this March. So, kena laa tukar set meja makan aku tu. Mana laa nak muat 4-seater kalau diorang nak datang ramai-ramai, kan?

So, jalan punya jalan.. pusing punya pusing, ternampak laa satu set meja makan ni. Very cheap and nice. Glass table tau. Original price is RM659, tapi tengah sale jadi harga RM499. Can you believe it? Murah, kan? Here's the picture.

We were more or less dah fixated on buying this one. Keja kaca, kerusi pun cantik. Tapi, still nak berjalan-jalan lagi menengok-nengok. Tanya assistant tu (namanya Robin, Bangladeshi. Very nice man. Promote pulak) ada tak TV cabinet. Tengok-tengok ada satu ni. Very nice. RM307. Dapat kurang jadi RM300. BUT. Display stock laa pulak. Adeh. Mama belek-belek kot-kot condition teruk. Condition still good. Hmm.. put on KIV first.

Tengok-tengok kat atas ada lagi satu floor. Gatai-gatai nak pergi tengok. Kat atas semua bedroom set! Hehe. Tengok punya tengok, terberkenan ada satu ni. I love the dresser. Not like the usual dressing table, this one cermin dia panjang and without the stool. Tak suka stool tu. Harga dia RM1372. Mahal jugak. Tiba-tiba Si Robin ni cakap dia boleh bagi RM900. RM900?? "Okay, I'll take it". I remember saying it.

So, all in all, aku amik tiga barang. Bedroom set RM1372, TV cabinet RM307 and Dining table set RM659. Altogether RM2338. Tapi Si Robin ni bagi aku RM1650. Wahh.. bezanya RM688 tu. Alhamdulillah. Semoga barangnya elok-elok saja. Lambat lagi ni nak kahwin, tapi dah beli bedroom set siap-siap. Hehe. Dan dah boleh cross lagi satu benda dalam list. Weehuuu!

Okeyy.. sudah penat. Sekarang mahu pergi jenguk Owen kat bawah kejap. Sian dia kena paksa makan ubat kat vet tadi. Pastu kena caged. Tapi dia diam je. Sekali-sekali bila ternampak orang dia mengiaw. Tapi slow je. Pastu diam balik. Baiknya laa kau. Siapa laa yang sampai hati buang kau ni?

Engagement Update: Bunga Hantaran!

After having mama's roti john for lunch, abah, mama, Irfan and I, we went out to Balakong to go this one place I really wanted to go. Fah Lean Floral in Taman Perindustrian Selesa Jaya. Read it in Pesona Pengantin stating they are pemborong bunga tiruan. Tu yang terpanggil untuk pergi tengok. Owen pun tengah tidur dalam cage tu. Tengah lalok ubat vet pagi tadi laa tu. Hehe.

Berpusing gak laa kami mencari jalan. Tak laa susah sangat, just tak biasa. Bila sampai je.. walauwehhh.. banyak gila bunga smpai tak terpilih. We were spoilt by choices! Tak pernah lagi aku tengok kedai jual bunga this big. Dia macam warehouse tau. Selain dari bunga, macam-macam laa barang kahwin lagi yang dorang jual. You just name it. But for me, only the flowers yang murah. Others like tray and stuff, lebih kurang je dengan harga luar.

I was so speechless looking at the place. Tak sangka the place is this big with lots of flowers. Tak payah pergi mana-mana dah tau. Datang sini je semua bunga ada. Kau nak penuhkan hantaran kau dengan bunga pun tadahal laaa!

We were there for more than a good one hour dok pusing. Kesian kat abah boring.  Tapi dia ikutkan aje. Kan anak dara dia nak kahwin ni. Hehe.

Pikir punya pikir sampai pening, aku duduk kejap. Berpikir. What flowers do I really want? Kena pikir satu-satu. Ni laa padahnya banyak sangat tengok hantaran kahwin, sampai semua bunga nampak sama. Okay, focus. the first flower yang aku memang nak is white Hydrangeas. Okay, go take some Hydrangeas. Lepas dah amik, baru pikir pulak what other flowers yang boleh dipadankan dengan Hydrangeas. Fillers! I love fillers! Suka sangat kalau ada bunga kecik-kecik di celah bunga besar-besar. Pilih punya pilih, aku amik mini rose buds. Very cute. Okay, try-try gubah kat situ, main selit sini selit sana. Ngam. Rasa macam nak pakai dua bunga nih je. Aku memang saje amik white Hydrangeas sebab nikah nanti boleh pakai balik. Tak gitu? :p

The Total Damage: RM133.40

This is the total damage. Aku beli 6 pokok mini rose buds for RM7.90 each and 4 pokok white Hydrangeas for RM21.50. Rasa macam cukup untuk 7 dulang. Nanti balik kena try dulu. Kalau tak cukup baru beli lagi. Okay done. Pergi bayar.

Owen's Visit to the Vet

Three major things I did today and I'm so relieved I've done it. Been thinking to do those things weekends after weekends tapi asyik tak sempat je. Since it's gonna be a very long entry, I'm gonna separate them in three entries. Here's the link if you wanna read it up. Read it! I went to the vet in the morning, went shopping for artificial flowers for hantaran after lunch and ordered some furniture at Wescourt after that.

So, I wrote about my newly addition to my cat's family, Owen, the orangey obedient male cat that just came to my house. He's a three-legged cat who came to my house curi-curi makan and mengorat my Cleo. There is something wrong with the hind leg. Looks like he injured his leg in an accident or something. But there's no open wound or cut. The leg looks fine to me just that he doesn't use it. Whenever he wants to move, he'll pull in his leg so that it won't touch the ground. Mesti sebab sakit. Poor thing.

Sian Kat Kaki Dia..

So, couldn't stand looking at him, Irfan and I brought him to the vet. After examining him, the vet told us that it's an old injury. Looks like he's got bitten. Maybe while fighting. Memang ada kucing pun suka kacau dia kat sini. Greyish colour. Very naughty. Vet cakap he more or less couldn't do anything since it's an old injury. Tendon dah keras and muscles is wasted. It looks like the achilles tendon dah putus and the vet takleh nak buat apa-apa. If bagi ubat pun, tak sure boleh baik ke tak sebab dah lama. Look like already 30 days.

Sukanya Tidur Dalam Bakul Motor :p

So, as a trial, he gave Owen some medicine for muscles, anti-inflammatory and antibiotic. The medicine is for 10 days. If Owen responds to the medicine, then alhamdulillah. Otherwise, we have to let it be. The vet pun cakap. There's no open wound and this is just tendon injury. So, other than some difficulties to walk and run properly there will be no other complication. So, more or less, Owen will be walking on three legs for the rest of his life. Oh well.. aku cuba as hard as I can to heal you. But if takleh jugak. I really am sorry, Owen. The vet gave some ubat kurap sekali. Cream type. He didn't dare to give Owen an injection since the medication is on-going. Takut ada side effects pulak.

Banyak, kan? Haih.. aku memang takleh tengok kucing sakit. Jadik kesian sangat sebab knowing they're just animals and can't take care of themselves. So, terbang laa RM95 duit aku. Oh one more thing. While Owen's is on medication. He needs to use less of his muscles. So the vet advice to confine him in a cage so that he doesn't move too much. Asked the vet if he could supply cage, the price is RM55. But when it comes to payment time, he gave me a discount price at RM50 sebab he appreciates my effort in helping strays. Hehe. Berbunga kejap hati bila tau ada jugak orang appreciate. :)

Fast and Cheap Saturday Night Dinner

Mama wanted to make roti john tonight. So, she went to Giant with abah and Irfan looking for things to buy. Minced meat, spring onions, eggs and stuff. When they came home. These were on the dining table.

Mama's Same As Mine.

Look at the price. Really cheap, right? They bought this at Giant. They went around 8.30pm something so all the food are on their clearance sale. Murah gila. So, mama bought this instead of barang-barang untuk buat roti john. Cheap and easy. Kenyang pun kenyang. So, time tengah malas-malas nak masak tu, you guys should try this.

Leo & Cleo's Visit to the Vet

As promised. I brought my two kittens, Leo and Cleo for a visit to the vet. Irfan drove me there. I really don't want them to have them same fate as the late Max. I really want them to be as healthy as they can be. Since I don't have a cage, I had to carry them in a basket. Comel pulak tengok dorang dalam bakul tu. Nasib baik dengar cakap. Hehe.

Went into the vet's room. Dua-dua kena treatment kutu. Habis satu badan basah. Hehe. Then the vet gave them a jab for their kurap. The vet told us the kurap will be worn off in a few days and the skin will be as smooth as normal. Hopefully you guys will get better soon, Sayangs.

The cost wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it would be amounted to RM100. Rupanya it was only RM30. For two cats! Hehe. I love you lah, doc! Rupanya going to the vet isn't that expensive.

So, the vet asked us to come back in 10 days to get a second jab and to do the second kutu treatment. Padan muka kau, kutus!

Lega sangat bila nazar aku dah tercapai. Alhamdulillah.

On The Grill

What Are You Thinking?

See the above pictures? This is Leo. My Siamese lookalike kitten. Tak tau laa apa masalah dia, he really likes to climb up the grill then sits there like nobody's business. Kadang-kadang siap tertidur kat atas tu. And the best part is, he doesn't know how to climb down =| Haihh.. Tak paham betul. When he sees somebody opens the door, he meows macma nak suruh turunkan. But, the moment we got back inside the house, he will climb up again and sits there until somebody came and rescue him for the second time. Boleh macam tu? Haih Leo.

Cleo takde gambar sebab dia sibuk bercinta dengan Owen, my new domestic short hair orangy cat. I don't know if he was somebody's cat but he's really beautiful. He's just a domestic short hair but the coat is very pretty and the hair is longer than the usual kucing kampung. The pattern kat coat dia pun cantik. Spiral sikit. Check this out.

Meet Owen The Kucing Tough.

Do you notice the hind leg? I don't know what he has gone through, but the hind leg is injured. It was a bit swollen and he only walks with three legs. Very slow. Kesian sangat. Wanted to bring him to the vet, but pikir pulak duit dah kurang ni. Haih. Why laa you must come here, dear boy? But he's such a good cat. Very cool. Very descent. Tak gaduh pun dengan my kittens. Diorang je yang takut lebih-lebih. Haha. Been thinking if I should keep him..

Pasar Malam Putrajaya

Just got home. Went for a drink with an old friend of mine. Lama tak jumpa. Saje je nak update masing-masing tentang perkembangan terbaru. He's got a new girlfriend, happy for him. And a new place, his own bachelor's pad. Happy for him. Bukan apa, after what he has gone through, I'm glad he's fine now.

Earlier before that, my parents and I went to the pasar malam Putrajaya to find something for dinner. As usual, they picked me up at the Putrajaya Sentral (abah is still using my car so kinda patah kaki right now) then we headed straight to pasar malam. Mama was the one who really wanted to go since she tak pernah pergi lagi. I've always loved this place sebab there are so many things you can find here. Especially food. Teringat zaman-zaman mudo-mudo dulu dengan Azila pergi cari juadah berbuka kat sini. Uwaaa.. kenangan terindah.

Sudahnya, we spent around RM50 for the food. Too many things look so delicious (shopping food time tengah lapar gitu laa gamaknya).

I bought 5 kuih akok - RM2 (Geram sebab tak jumpa kat Kota Bharu punya pasal), 10 popiah basah - RM6, nasi kerabu lauk telor masin - RM3 and 3 roti john (RM10).

Abah bought 20 kuih penaram - RM2, 3 quails - RM11 and 5 nasi lemak - RM5.

Mama bought 3 apam balik - RM10 and 15 putu bambu - RM6.

Banyak, kan? Sampai rumah kami makan sampai kekenyangan.

Gambar tak amik semua pulak, only quails. Tuh pun time nak snap tu, abah dah chilok sekor. Haih. Abah dengan burung puyuh memang tak dapat dipisahkan.

Original Bootcamp: 3rd Session (Burn The Cals!)

Third Session yesterday. Sangat lah pemalasnya. But need to go to burn the fat and calories I gained from the long weekend and also from eating too much carbs while I was away in Kelantan.

Overall, workouts are good. I can feel the muscles are working. Love the push-ups.

Saw Captain Dennis. Talked for a while and invited him to join our yoga classes. Let's see if he will be there next week. But, I'm still surprise to see him in the 3rd session. Going strong, captain! :D

Entry Malas

First day at work after two days of jalan-jalan. Huwarghh malas gila.

This one will be short, I promise. Just nak update kepulangan aku. Gambar banyak, tapi semua kat dalam camera lagi. Later baru transfer.

Kota Bharu will not be my favourite place to go. Aku bukan memilih sangat, tapi gerai/warung kat sana memang tak dapat nak memikat hati aku untuk makan. Makan pun sekadar kenyang je. Very unhygienic.. Sorry warga Kelantan. I've to say what I've have to say. They really need to do something about the cleanliness in surrounding area. Guess what? Segala makanan Kelantan, satu pun aku tak dapat nak rasa. Not even Nasi Kerabu. What a waste. :|

Today got bootcamp. Malas, but I really need to go burn some calories. Dah laa tak pergi lari. Yoga pun miss. Yang ni dah ada peluang kena rajin sket.

Shoppink @ Kelantan!

Hasnaa called ene just now. As promised. They talked about the Hong Kong position. So far, there are only two suitable candidates. He and the other guy. So far, ene is the one who is more suitable for the position. Sebab he is the one who handle things in Hong Kong. But apa-apa pun, they need to meet up with Lina Wang for interview. She'll be in town on the 28th. So, 28th ni laa baru confirm weather dapat or not. I hope he'll get it. Mungkin akan problem jugak laa in terms of preparing ourselves for the wedding. But, it's a good opportunity for him and for me as well. Kalau tak dapat kerja kat sana pun, boleh laa bercuti selalu. Nasib baik kerja airline ;))

I'm leaving for Kota Bharu tomorrow. Yeayy tak kerja esok dengan lusa. Cuti! Saje je actually pergi Kota Bharu ni. Terjumpa this really good deal time promo hari tu. Five pax for RM76. Murah gila, kan? Sebab weekdays :|

Tapi okay laa.. just about time laa kot pergi. Since aku pun nak cari barang kahwin, kan. Boleh laa jengah-jengah apa yang murah kat situ. Kot-kot ada doorgift murah ke, kain murah ke.. Tapi.. masalahnya, aku tak amik check-in baggage. Hahah. Takpe. Survey-survey dulu. Panjang lagi masa.

Our flight tomorrow is at 8.30am. First flight sebab duduk satu malam je, kan. Balik pulak, flight petang. So, I'll only be updating my blog on Thursday. There goes my Yoga class. Ergh.

Wedding Update: On Everything!

Met up detink-detink with ene yesterday. I promised I will update about the discussion on our wedding. Since we've not seen each other for two weeks, so this entry will be one hell of a long entry. Seriously, this is a warning.

Okay, gonna write one by one supaya tak pening. There might be a bit change of plan. ene might got an offer from TM Hong Kong for a opened position there. Benda ni still ongoing. Not yet finalized. But he is one of them yang akan kena pergi. The issue now is, if he was to go to Hong Kong. He'll be leaving in June since the new division will be up and running in mid year. That means.. time is really running out to prepare for our wedding. That will lead to earlier preps for everything. Semua kena cari and finalized and lock before he leaves. Iaitu before June. We don't really have much time left, do we? Fuh.

Okay, the updates.

DEWAN:

1. Dewan Komuniti Bukit Bandaraya tak jadi. Walaupun murah dan date kitorang memang still free. Sebab mak ene tak nak dewan komuniti. Tak berkenan katanya. Dia still nak dewan kat dalam opis juga. Haihh.. my hands are off the table now. Aku dah cari, tapi tak setuju, so it's up to you guys.

2. For now, ada tiga dewan yang diorang dah shortlist:

    a) Dewan Tan Sri Mahfuz Khalid (Dewan JKR), near Bank Negara:

        i.   Dapat contact from kawan Falsya. Dia kerja JKR. So, lagi senang kalau ada orang dalam.

        ii.  Date kosong. But risky. Sebab if tiba-tiba ada VVIP nak datang, they have to cancel our booking. Gila apa? Mana nak cari dewan masa-masa terdekat camtu?

        iii. Aunty still prefer this dewan jugak, so she asked Flasya for the friend's number so that senang deal terus dengan dia. She wanted to discuss pasal lock dewan ni. If they agreed to lock the hall for us, memang amik dewan ni laa. Otherwise, kena cari dewan lain laa. Putting the hall on kiv macam ni, it's a very risky thing laa.

    b) Dewan Bankuet DBP, near Tupai-Tupai:

        i.  Date still kosong.

        ii. Aunty tak suka sangat sebab nak pergi jem kat situ. Hehe.. cerewet lah aunty ni ;)) But still keeping this on kiv.

    c) Dewan Bankuet UTM, Jalan Semarak:

        i. Date kosong, booked. Tapi tak letak deposit lagi.

3. Sebelum lock any dewan, we planned to go tengok the dewans first. At least, we can get a clearer pictures of how our wedding will look like in that particular dewans.

4. What ever it is, dewan needs to be locked before March. Sebab time is running out. Bila dewan dah locked, every other things dah boleh start cari dah, cari masjid untuk nikah, pergi food tasting catering, cari pelamin etc etc etc..

HANTARAN (TUNANG):

1. The original plan: 7 balas 9. 

2. But now, ene asked to tukar to 5 balas 7. Alasan dia, takut ada sedara-mara tiba-tiba bagi barang extra. Aku jugak yang jenuh nak membalasnya. Ada jugak betulnya dia cakap. Nak mencari benda nak letak atas 9 dulang memang susah. Semua benda nak bagi. Sudahnya benda-benda tuh semuanya Aunty bagi kat orang je masa kahwin abang ene dulu. At least, kalau 7 dulang je, takde laa aku pening kepala nak bagi benda mengarut-ngarut kan. But still, I think kena prepare one or two extra dulang in case dorang bagi lebih. Tapi kalau dah last minute sangat, sorry laa. Hamik laa kau 7 dulang sahaja. Muahahahahaa!

DUIT HANTARAN:

1. ene wanted to give RM10k. But I wanted 12k. So, ene letak syarat. Dia bagi 12k provided aku settle bedroom set. Need to dicuss with mama first. Tengok macam mana.

2. Final verdict: Duit hantaran RM12k from ene and bedroom set from me.

CATERING:

1. Aunty ada sebut nak amik Ikhwan lagi sekali. But, ene said, "Kena laa tanya belah sana jugak. Masa yang haritu, food tasting dengan family Falsya. Lain. This time, takleh laa nak terus amik jugak walaupun dah tau sedap. Kena laa bawak diorang pergi food tasting jugak. Mungkin diorang tak berkenan. Lagi satu, mesti laa dorang pun ada catering sendiri nak pilih. Kita discuss laa dulu dengan diorang macam mana." You did the right thing, ene. Love you! :D

DOORGIFT:

1. Aunty's idea: Sedara Falsya ada duduk kat Cameron Highlands. Dia boleh supply jem dalam mini jar. It's supre cute and I like it! But, it still depends on the harga jugak. If mahal, then forget laa. If murah, then on laa. So, if jadi, terpulang kat family aku of nak tambah apa-apa or just bagi tu je. Tinggal tambah cute pouches to go with it je.

2. My idea: If the mini jam is not that expensive, aku nak tambah wajik. Back to traditional way. Hehe.. ene is okay with the idea. Tapi tengok dulu budget mini jam tu. I really want it! Sangat cute okayh!

KURSUS KAHWIN:

1. If ene was to go to Hong Kong in the middle of the year, we are planning to go to kursus kahwin in March. Need to settle everything before dia pergi. Kalau tak, takkan dia nak balik sini semata-mata nak pergi kursus kahwin, kan?

2. If ene tak jadi pergi, then we are going around July. Or maybe later. No issues there.
