Nak cerita sedih sket pasal kasut aku.

Nampak tak kasut aku kat gambar-gambar bawah ni?

Aku beli kasut ni dalam bulan April or May hari tu. Masa tu dia baru je launch kat Zalora. Teruja aku tengok kasut tu. Cantek bebenau. Memang aku dah lama nak cari kasut zaman 80-an nih. Tapi ingat nak cari kat Hong Kong since kat sana lagi banyak choice. Sekali belek-belek Zalora, ada laa pulak kan. Aldo pulok tu. Tak tunggu lama terus aku caras. Bule jugak melaram gi Gold Coast nanti.

Sekaliiiii.. ni bila aku bukak balik Zalora lepas raya ni (bukak sebab dapat iklan Zalora dalam email ada 50% off untuk barang Aldo), kasut ni jadik murohhhhh.. oh noooo! Aku dah rugi banyak di situuuu. Huwaaaa.. Saje je nak buat aku ralat tauu.

Haish.. sabar je laaaa.. ayat nak sedapkan hati: Dia sale sebab nak habiskan stok. Size pun dah takde size aku. Sib baaaaik caras cepat.

Tengok laa berapa banyak harga dia turunkan.. Wuwuwuwuu..

Banyak kan beza dia? Haih.. pasrah je aku tengok. Dah laa aku beli time tu memang tak pakai apa-apa voucher sebab dah habis. Huwaaa..

Solemnization Update: Wedding Shoes Bedazzled!

Jatuh Cinta Dengan Kasut Sendiri. *Sila Muntah*

Tak cukup lagi dengan lace, nak jugak tambah batu-batu permata. Aku kan over. Ekeke. Tapi aku tampal sket-sket je. Saje je.. banyak batu permata extra ada kat umah ni. Lebihan aku tampal kat veil nikah aku hari tu ler. Alang-alang, tepek je kat kasut. Baru laa wedding shoes. :p 

The original plan was to sew in beads and pearls (aku kan pearls princess). Tapi aku rasa masa tak bape nak mengizinkan aku nak buat benda-benda ad hoc yang mengambil masa cani. Aku suka je dah kasut aku tu. Just saje nak bedazzle kan sket. Batu permata kejap je nak menampalnya, tak macam jahit beads and pearls. Penat woo.

Last weekend, sambil detink-detink dengan ene, aku dah nekad nak cari kasut hantaran. By hook or by crook. Kalau takde kasut lace, aku nak sambar je apa-apa kasut yang sesuai. Aku memang sangat-sangat teringin kasut lace. Sangat-sangat teringin. Takleh nak bayang cane teringin aku tu. Tapi selalu takde rezeki. Dua kali aku jumpa, tapi tak dapat nak beli. Sebab dah habis size. Sangat ralat. Sebab dia lace kan. Everybody is crazy about lace nowadays. Semua benda nak lace. Baju, kasut, kalau bule satu badan nak cover dengan lace. Aku pun sama :p

Finally, aku dapat jugak kasut lace aku. Sangat seronok! Terkinja-kinja aku depan ene tunjuk kasut tu. Yerr, aku tau memang buruk terkinja-kinja gitu. Tapi dah tak tahan. Sangat seronok tau sebab aku dah lama cari kasut lace untuk hantaran. Alhamdulillah, ene approve, aku terus sambar. Weee!

Dah laa lace, kasut ni kaler light brown pulak tu. Aku memang nak cari kasut light brown lace-lace sket sebab aku nak pakai terus untuk reception nanti. Baju aku kan french lace gittew ;))

Alhamdulillah, ada size aku. Mungkin jugak sebab baru sampai. Sebab last weekend aku masuk Aldo, takde pulak kasut ni. New arrival mungkin. Pheww.. selesai satu lagi barang hantaran. Tinggal barang terakhir adalah gelang nikah. Yang tu tunggu ene balik raya haji. Bf cepat laa balik. Rindu.

*Tengah pikir nak beli kasut untuk nikah ke tak. Memang aku nikah kat rumah. Tapi nak pergi photoshoot tepi tasik, kena laa ada kasut kan kan? Mari serbu Christy Ng! Weee! :DDDD

Wedding Update: A Busy Weekend

ene and i will be wearing peach. And our family will be wearing green. :)

Yupp.. lama tak update pasal wedding. Pheww.. this coming weekend will be one heck of a weekend. Dua minggu sebelum pun dah tau dah yang weekend ni akan penuh sepenuh-penuhnya. Mintak maaf kawan-kawan kerana mengabaikan korang sejak kebelakangan ni. Bukan tak nak lepak, tapi tersangatlah busy prepare wedding (padan muka, sape suruh nak buat sendiri semua).

This weekend someone is coming home. Yippie! And he'll be here until Tuesday. Double yippie! And we'll be seeing each other every single day for the whole weekend. Triple yippie! :DDD Dan sebab dia ada kat sini laa kitorang akan menjadi sangat busy this weekend sebab lepas ni, ene akan terus ke Hong Kong start kerja kat sana. Mungkin tak balik-balik dah sampai our wedding day. Haih.

Meh aku listkan apa aku nak buat this weekend. Isk dah lama tak busy-busy prepare pasal kawen dengan ene. Selalu prepare sorang-sorang je. Or dengan mama. Or dengan Azila. Minggu ni dengan ene. Can't wait :)

Saturday:

- Pergi pasar early morning nak cari seafood and barang dapur. Plannya nak masak-masak untuk ene. Sweet tak aku? Bersemut dah ni.

- Pergi Jalan TAR nak cari pre-wedding props. Tak sempat nak buat sendiri. Plus aku nak beli lace hitam. Ada orang order, nak beli butang untuk centerpiece reception aku and untuk handbouquet Kak Amira jugak.

- Buat laundry, please. Bertimbun dah oi.

- Cuci kereta, please. Debu dah dekat sejengkal.

- Amik ene kat airport. Weeee!

- Balik rumah. Mama nak ukur ene untuk baju melayu nikah dia.

- Lepas kenyang perut, detink time! :DDD Tak tau laa kul bape dapat start detink ni..

Sunday:

- Pergi makeup and blow rambut. Kat spa depan rumah tu je. Senang dekat.

- Pre-wedding photoshoot. Weee! Katne? Nanti aku reveal. :D

- Pergi Mimi Bridal nak buat second fitting.

- Detink time! But with a mission. Mau cari kasut and gelang untuk hantaran. Tak dapat-dapat lagi.

Monday:

- Tunggu ene datang, then off to Cyber nak gi matikan stamp untuk ujrah thingy. Baru dapat offer letter weh. Lambat gila. Pastu ene pun got some stuff to do there.

- Lunch date. Echehhh.

- Pergi HIV test kat Klinik Seri Kembangan. Like, finally!

Tuesday:

- Hantar ene to the airport :(

Reception Update: Hantaran (Camper Shoes!)

Sekali lagi aku ke KL hari ni. This time nak beli cincin ene. Tu the actual plan laa.. Tiba-tiba bertukar jadi plan lain pulak. Sila baca dengan sabar.

Pergi Mid Valley nak cari cincin platinum ene. Pusing punya pusing, dok masuk semua kedai, semua tak minat. Hmm.. then singgah laa The Garden sekali. Kot-kot taste dia cincin kat Gardens pulak.. mana tau, kan.. Haish. So, pusing-pusing ternampak kedai Camper. Sibuk dia nak masuk. Aku ikut je laa. Don't really like Camper as the design doesn't really suit me. To boyish. Tak feminine langsung.

Long story short, he wanted the shoes. Hmm.. told him if I bought that shoes, means his ring memang kena beli next month. Takdak duit. Mahal okeyh. So, he agreed. Suka sangat dia. I like it too. Cantik jugak laa dia pakai. Smart. It's a half formal, half casual shoes. Dark brown.

Kaki dah penat, perut dah lapar. Tetiba rasa macam nak makan sedap laa. Dah lama tak makan sedap. Went to Chili's. Ordered our usual favourite dish beef nashos. Then for main course aku order southwestern grilled lamb and ene ordered mushroom jack fajitas. Sudahnya dua-dua tersandar kekenyangan.. tuh laa.. tamak lagi.

Friday Night Run

Went running today.

Wanted to do at least 11km. Since Brooks Half Marathon is only a week away. Tapi tak kesampaian. We did the usual half loop from Perbadanan Putrajaya up to PICC. Memang plan nak naik PICC, tiba-tiba Yeen tak nak pulak. Adeh.. Then lepas tu terus malas. We finished our 5km run back to Perbadanan Putrajaya, then rested for a while, then pergi pasar malam. I've always love Putrajaya's night market. They have loads of interesting stuff especially food. Now, I can't stop thinking, whether or not I participate in Brooks. It's 21km and I don't get enough training and all I can think about is food!

We wanted to find something for dinner. But, before that, I wanted to jalan-jalan at the clothings area. Cantik-cantik baju dia. Geram. Tapi takde plan nak beli baju lagi. Then we passed through the shoes stall. OMG, I saw that really nice pump shoes. It was black and got some flowery ruffles at the front. Something that I've been looking for for quite sometime. Tanya price, RM23 je! Then bargain punya bargain, dapat laa RM21. Hehe.. very nice aunty. Yesss.. dah dapat kasut baru!

Then went to the food area. Dah jog rasa rugi pulak nak makan banyak. Wanted to buy only one food for me. No more. Either nasi kerabu or murtabak. Murtabak laa.. Nasi kerabu dah makan last week. Bought two. Yeen bought keropok lekor for herself.

Then, we went to the fruits area. Yeen wanted to buy some bananas. Me as well, tapi tengok pisang dia macam tak cantik je, lalu tak beli. Then I saw strawberries! Dua paket RM15. Murah, kan? Tengah pilih-pilih, abang tu cakap, amik tiga, RM20. Apa lagi. Yeen took one, I took two. Fuh. Pembaziran ke? I think not.

4th Day @ ene's

The busy day is over finally. Pheww!

I've been waiting for today. ene and I, we were gonna go shopping today! And also to celebrate his birthday. A moment just for the two of us, at last. I meant, with all the rushing, hassle, busy these three days with ene's brother's wedding almost made me forget how it feels like to be alone with ene. We've been so close but yet so far these three days at ene's house. We see each other every single day from early morning til late night, but we don't really feel the attachment since we were so busy doing our assigned tasks. and helping out at the wedding.

I woke up around 7.30am. Wanted to sleep in a little bit more, but I guess I still need to wake up early since I'm still at ene's house. Although her mother was quite warm to me, I don't want to get too comfy at her house. After all, I'm still nobody to her, right? :)

After washing up, I don't really have much to do. ene was still sound asleep in front of the tv (with still holding the remote). ene's mother was pressing the baju melayus that has just been washed. Then the phone rang. She went to pick up the call and I helped her with the pressings. After putting down the phone, she said she's going to make me breakfast. I was like.. aww.

When I went down for breakfast, she made me a mug of nescafe. Some fried squid balls, cheesy sausages, keropok lekor and some other fried thingy has already served on the table. We chatted while having breakfast. We chatted for quite sometimes, though. She told me a lot of things about the family (a sign that she has accepted me as family, right? =p) which some of the things I didn't expect to know about. She was being quite opened to me. And I really like that. Thank you, Aunty. :)

We got ready to go detink-detink around 12.30noon. Our actual plan was to go to Mid Valley and the Gardens since we haven't go Sale Hunting there this year-end sale. But boy, there were traffic jams everywhere at the Mid Valley Boulevard. I think it was because, all the Selangorians were going shopping as well since today was a public holiday. Hate it when this happened.

So, we changed our plan to go to 1-Utama. It was quite hard to find a parking lot as well, but it wasn't as tough as Mid Valley. But guess what, after like half-an-hour we reached there, ene's brother called, saying he wanted to have dinner with all of us tonight as a thank you gift and also to celebrate ene's birthday. And that moment also I just realized that I left my mobile at his house. Haha.

So, we went straight to Secret Recipe to have some cakes to celebrate ene's birthday (and also because secret recipe is having this promotion, buy a slice of cake and get a cup of long black coffee/ flat white coffee/ organic tea for free =p).

Strawberry Marshmallow Cheese. Super yummy!

We ordered two types of cakes in order to get a cups of drinks. Chocolate Indulgence was just so-so to me. Tasted like chocolate and loads of fresh cream (eaten this many times already. Kinda bored of the blunt taste). I love the Strawberry Marshmallow Cheese! It has three layers of goodness. The first layer is the crust, usually made from finely crushed biscuits. The second layer is the cheese. Tastes almost like the classic cheesecake, only better and the top layer is the tastiest. It is the mixture of tangy and sweet strawberry bits jam, soft and sweet marshmallow chunks and fresh cream. It was a complete taste of perfection. Will go again for that. For drinks, I had flat white coffee (as usual) and ene had long black.

After having our drinks, we went jalan-jalan for a while searching for my Aldo and Nine West shoes. Yeah.. I know. I still want Nine West even though Falsya got it for her hantaran. After all, It's gonna a year until my wedding. Who could've remembered? =p

Saw this nice stilettos with rhinestones on it. Priced at RM429 and discounted at RM300. Wanted to grab it but ene asked to wait for another offer since we were quite in a rush that time. Oh well..

We never found Aldo. So, we went home for the dinner. The dinner was at the TGI Friday's, Wangsa Walk located in Wangsa Maju. There were five of us. ene's mother, brother, Falsya, ene himself and I. I had the nicest short ribs of all time. I didn't know TGIF short ribs was this delicious! ene's brother ordered the Friday's Three-For-All as appetizers.

Friday's Three-For-All RM35.90

I just love this appetizer! It consists of three really tasty stuff! Fried Mozarella, Mozzarella cheese coated in special Italian-style breading then deep-fried, served with a rich marinara sauce. Loaded Potato Skins, loaded with cheddar cheese and crisp beef bits, served with sour cream and green onions. Spicy Buffalo Wings, the traditional upstate New York-style chicken wings marinated in spicy sauce then deep-fried, served with crisp celery sticks and tangy Bleu Cheese dressing. I went googoogaagaa for this.

My Friday's Braised Short Ribs RM50.90

I would go again for this. That time, I was kinda full from the afternoon cakes and I couldn't finish up the ribs. But it was damn nice. It was so moist and tender! I've never loved beef like this. The ribs are slowly braised in their own savory juices. It was served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The taste of garlic really brings out the flavour of the ribs.

ene's brother ordered this. He said, it was tasty. But not as tasty as Tony Roma's. This beef ribs is expertly cooked to ensure they're fall-off-the-bone tender. Then, they're fire-grilled and glazed with tangy barbecue sauce and serve with crispy fries.

Sizzling Chicken and Shrimp RM32.90

ene's mother ordered this since she is allergic to beef. Looked tasty but I couldn't have a taste of it since we were sitting quite far from each other. It consists of sautéed garlic-marinated chicken breast and plump shrimp tossed with zesty roma tomato-basil salsa. Served with onions and peppers and our cheddar cheese mashed potatoes on a sizzling platter of melted Colby and Jack cheeses.

Friday's Grilled Salmon RM45.90

Falsya ordered this. A chargrilled North Atlantic salmon fillet served with seasonal vegetables and cheddar cheese mashed potatoes. I didn't bother to try this since I've eaten it before during my lasy day in Bright Mind Resources. My boss, Amal, bought us lunch to celebrate my farewell. For me, the fish was quite dry (After all, it's grilled salmon. How else could it tasted like, right?). But I really love the mashed potatoes as it was ribboned with melted cheddar cheese. You can never go wrong with cheese, can you?

Just the usual stuff of celebrating.. standing on the chair.. giving a speech with a ketchup bottle in his hand.. we sang happy birthday and candle blowing. It was such a nice moment.

And at the same time, I couldn't stop thinking.. we were so busy celebrating our birthdays with friends doing what youngsters do best during our younger years, we just forget how warmth and nice it can be celebrating with family.. And I think.. this is the beginning of celebrating special occasions with family instead of friends..
